IRELAND 2006

This was my second trip to Ireland. Around the middle of March there are two events for celebrations, St. Pat's day and the five nation rugby championship. Last year, we were in the Temple Bar area of Dublin for the rugby championship. Quite an event, to put it mildly. This year, I picked up a car the the Dublin aiport and drove south, staying in Cashel and Killarney. There are several B&Bs in Ireland, so finding a place should not be a problem at anytime of the year.

I drove to Cashel and stayed at the Derrynaflan House near Cashel. The home of Mrs O'Sullivan is delightful and comfortable. Mrs. O'Sullivan typfies the Irish, helpful and friendly.
